Carl Simons
Carl Alfred Simons (born January 30, 1877 in Neuss , † November 20, 1960 in Wiesbaden ) was a German administrative lawyer in the Kingdom of Prussia .
Life
Simons first studied law and political science at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In 1899 he became active in the Corps Hasso-Borussia Freiburg . As an inactive he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1903 he was at the University of Leipzig to Dr. iur. PhD . He took part in the First World War. In 1917 he was appointed provisional district administrator of the Wittlich district and in 1918 he was finally taken over into the administrative service of the Free State of Prussia . In 1919 he married Elisabeth Teßmar . In March 1923 he was expelled from the French occupation authorities. He found a job with the government in Arnsberg . From 1933 to 1939 he was the district president of the Hohenzollern Lands in Sigmaringen .
