Chekeretnebti was buried in mastaba B in the Djedkare family cemetery in Abusir . This has a grave shaft slightly north of the center, which leads to the sarcophagus chamber. The burial chapel consists of a vestibule with a storage room to the north and a sacrificial room to the south. There is a serdab on the south side of the sacrificial room . Fragments of a false door and the remains of a wooden statue of Chekeretnebtis were discovered in the sacrificial room.

The mastaba was later also used as a burial place for Tisethor. For this purpose, another grave shaft with a sarcophagus chamber was created in the northern part of the building and the storage room was converted into another sacrificial room for Tisethor.

Remains of Chekeretnebti's mummy were found in the central sarcophagus chamber . An anthropological study revealed an age of death between 30 and 35 years.
