Daniel Nitt
Daniel Nitt (born October 29, 1981 in Pegnitz , Upper Franconia , Bavaria ) is a German composer and music producer specializing in dance-pop , pop-rock and R&B .
Life
Daniel Nitt's father was a music teacher and taught him to play the piano . After graduating from high school at the Margravine Wilhelmine Gymnasium in Bayreuth , he completed a course of studies at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim , which he completed in 2006 with a bachelor's degree. He then devoted himself to songwriting .
Musical career
Solo career
Nitt first appeared as a singer in 2005. He was hired as a writer for the band Soweitsogut, with the song Will Already ... he appeared as a guest singer in addition to his writing. In 2009 he supported the German producer team Vandertone on their song Sleepliess . In the same year he appeared as producer and background singer for Rosanna Rocci's album Solo con te - Nur mit dich . In 2010 Nitt recorded the play Sonntag with Dwel and Neophil . In 2011 Nitt was part of the soundtrack to Til Schweiger's Kokowääh with the title The Falling . Two years later he was also part of the soundtrack for the second part of Kokowääh with Castles . In the same year Nitts' first album was released with the Hallelujah EP . In 2015, Nitt's first official single was Lovers Friends . The piece was created together with the Austrian DJ duo MÖWE . In the same year he appeared together with Samy Deluxe as a guest singer on Nico Suaves Walking .
Together with Dominik Kern, the cabaret duo Kern & Nitt performs .
Success as an author and music producer
At the same time as his musician career, Nitt also began writing and producing songs. He first appeared as a writer for the band Soweitsogut in 2005. A year later he wrote the song Succeed for this year's winner from Deutschland sucht den Superstar . The piece appeared as the B-side on Regner's single Cool Without You . The single was able to place itself in the German charts. Nitt achieved its first success in 2008 with the production of Perfect Day for King Family . The single reached position 68 in the German single charts and was Nitt's first chart success. The following year he wrote and produced songs for well-known artists such as Cinema Bizarre and Rosanna Rocci . In 2010 he wrote the song Juniherz for Christina Stürmer . At first Nitt did not have a second chart success and with the exception of a few productions it became quieter around Nitt. In 2014 he finally achieved his big breakthrough with the collaboration of Mark Forster . First the two top 10 successes in Germany , Austria and Switzerland celebrated with the single Au revoir . The piece was certified with gold and platinum awards in all three countries and has sold 645,000 times so far. The next top 10 success followed with Flash me . After Nitt achieved tenth place as an author for the song poem at the Bundesvision Song Contest together with Nico Suave and Flo Mega in 2014 , he succeeded in winning the title Bauch und Kopf together with Forster . In the following years, Nitt and Forster achieved further top 10 and chart successes with titles such as Wir sind Groß , Chöre and Sowieso .
