The blue yacht is a detective radio play from the radio crime scene series . The original text comes from Matthias Wittekindt , who for the fifth time continues in his original text the Hamburg investigator duo Kriminalhauptkommissarin Bettina Breuer and the undercover investigator Jac Garthmann designed by his predecessor Frank Göhre for the North German Radio . The blue yacht first aired on April 21, 2012. In addition to the main actors, Ulrich Pleitgen , Ulrike C. Tscharre , Anne Moll and Stephan Schwartz also performed other well-known speakers and actors.
The present 51st case of the entire series and eighth case of the Hamburg crime scene primarily revolves around the disappearance of a luxury yacht from a German shipyard , ostensibly about industrial espionage , possibly insurance fraud and ultimately murder .

Detective Chief Inspector Bettina Breuer from the LKA Hamburg is set to deal with a case that has already been dealt with, which the police authorities in charge of the matter have not yet been able to resolve despite extensive research . In the Hamburg Parmur shipyard , a new yacht worth 12 million euros was apparently stolen. The so-called "Blue Yacht" disappeared without a trace one day before her maiden voyage . Since, according to the shipyard and the designers, the ship was supposedly equipped with the latest, sensitive technology, Bettina Breuer ostensibly has to investigate industrial espionage.
Since one of the tracks on "Gudrun's cottage" with an adjoining golf course refers by next to the numerous entrepreneurs and shipyard owner Reiner Pamur often einfindet as a guest, is undercover agent Jac Garth man again undercover in his capacity as pianist introduced into the golf club. But Garthmann's observation and moral instinct will give her the best direction several times.

After the first part of the Hamburg crime scene series, Dirty Laundry , whose story and figure design was done by the writer Frank Göhre , Matthias Wittekindt took over the template for the fifth time . Martin Reinke was asked in the interview that he would have created the role of Jac Garthmann in a very “Hamburg-style” way: “It's a kind of declaration of love to my hometown Hamburg. I'm a stage actor and unfortunately I only had one chance to play hamburgers on stage. And now I am finally lucky with Jac Garthmann to color him linguistically. "
