Eric Stephen Baldwin (* 1984 in Beaver Dam , Wisconsin ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Personal

Baldwin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics . With the college baseball team , he won the 2005 NCAA Division III Football Championship . Baldwin lives in Las Vegas .

Poker career

Career

Baldwin has been playing online since July 2006 under the nicknames basebaldy ( PokerStars , Full Tilt Poker and Bodog) , ( partypoker ) and ERIC_BALDWIN ( UltimateBet ) and in May 2016 had tournament revenues of just under 1.5 million US dollars . Since 2006 he has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

Baldwin was in August 2006 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successfully and reached at a tournament of the variant No-Limit Hold'em final table. He won his first major prize money at the beginning of April 2008 in the amount of almost 150,000 US dollars when he won the Five Star World Poker Classic at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. At the 2009 WSOP , Baldwin secured a bracelet and more than $ 500,000 in prize money by winning a No Limit Hold'em event .
