Jacob Carl "Jake" Schindler (born September 26, 1989 in Bryn Mawr , Pennsylvania ) is a professional American poker player .

Schindler has earned more than $ 25 million in poker in live tournaments . Of that, he won over $ 13 million at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas , making him the most successful player at that casino. In addition, Schindler has won numerous high-value tournaments in his career, including the High Roller of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure , the Super High Roller of the partypoker Millions and the Bellagio 100K of the Five Diamond World Poker Classic .

Schindler lives in Hollywood , Florida . On the online poker platform PokerStars , he won an event of the World Championship of Online Poker in September 2013 under the nickname CaLLitARUSH and thus a prize of almost 150,000 US dollars . Schindler has been participating in renowned live tournaments since 2009 .

In June 2011 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and cashed in two tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant . At the end of February 2012, Schindler won a WSOP circuit tournament in West Palm Beach and with it a ring and a prize of almost 25,000 US dollars. In mid-August 2013, he won a side event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood, Florida, for just under 60,000 US dollars. At the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas in early 2014 , Schindler won the high roller event and with it prize money of almost 1.2 million US dollars. He cashed a total of four times at the 2014 WSOP , including a final table that grossed over $ 200,000 for him alone. In early July 2014, Schindler reached the final table at a super high roller event at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas and finished the tournament in third place for around $ 550,000. In early September 2014, Schindler won the Super High Roller event of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for an additional $ 570,000. At the end of April 2016, he won the Aria High Roller at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for the first time , in which he has now won twelve tournaments . At the beginning of December 2016, Schindler finished third at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) at the Bellagio for almost 750,000 US dollars in prize money. At the Super High Roller Bowl 2017 he reached the final table as the chip leader in early June 2017 and finished the tournament behind Christoph Vogelsang in second place for 3.6 million US dollars in prize money. In September 2017, Schindler cashed twice at the Poker Masters tournaments at the Aria Resort & Casino for prizes in excess of $ 400,000. In February 2018, he made the money four times at the US Poker Open in the same place and, with earnings of almost 700,000 US dollars, placed third behind Stephen Chidwick and Keith Tilston in the race for the US Poker Open Championship trophy .
