Samuel "Sam" Michael Panzica II (born May 7, 1992 ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time champions of the World Poker Tour .

Poker career

Panzica has been participating in renowned live tournaments since 2011 .

At the beginning of October 2012, Panzica finished 94th at the main event of the European Poker Tour in Sanremo and received prize money of 10,000 euros . After he had completed his 21 years in May 2013, he was the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to take part in two tournaments and reached the variant No-Limit Hold'em , the money ranks. In April 2015, Panzica finished third in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown's Deepstack event in Los Angeles for just under $ 110,000 . In mid-February 2016, he won the High Roller at the EPT in Dublin with a prize of around 375,000 euros. At the end of July 2016, Panzica won the Florida State Poker Championships in Pompano Beach and secured almost $ 120,000 in prize money. In mid-October 2016, he won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour in Jacksonville for more than $ 350,000. In early March 2017, he prevailed against 805 other players at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star main event in San José and secured his second WPT title as well as his highest prize money of almost 1.4 million dollars. In late October 2017, Panzica sat at a WPT final table again, finishing second in Jacksonville for more than $ 200,000.

In total, Panzica has earned just under $ 4.5 million in poker in live tournaments.
