The Göppingen-Bezgenriet airfield is a special airfield and is located between Bezgenriet , Heiningen and Bad Boll in the Göppingen district . It is operated by the Göppingen flight school, among others. There is a small hall at the airfield. The space is approved for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 2000 kg and air sports equipment .
From 1940 to 1944 the airfield was used as a dummy airfield for the former Göppingen air base in order to deflect enemy aircraft.
The airfield is only for use by aircraft authorized by the operator.
