The 2020/21 season is the 31st season of the Bundesliga , officially FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga , in women's football . It should start on August 21, 2020 and end on May 22, 2021. At an extraordinary meeting on July 6, 2020, the DFB Presidium adopted a new framework calendar for the 2020/21 season. The league will start playing on the weekend of September 4 to 6, 2020. The winter break extends from December 20 to February 14, 2021. The last game day is scheduled for June 13 of the year. The top three teams qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League , while the last two teams are relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga .
