Gerd Lohmeyer
Gerd Lohmeyer (born February 10, 1945 in Würzburg ) is a German actor and director .
Life
Gerd Lohmeyer grew up in Nabburg . From 1967 to 1970 he studied the performing arts at the HdK Berlin, today's Berlin University of the Arts . During his training he played a supporting role in the literary film adaptation of Eric Malpass 's novel of the same name in 1968 , The world is still in order at seven . In 1970 the new filming of the classic Die Feuerzangenbowle by director Helmut Käutner followed , in which Lohmeyer was also seen in a supporting role.
After completing his studies, he concentrated mainly on his career in the theater and was only seen more frequently on television and in the cinema again from the late 1980s. In the 1970s and 1980s he played among others at the Theater Dortmund , at the Theater Freiburg , at the Bavarian State Theater , the Munich Kammerspiele and at the Munich Volkstheater . He later performed at the Stuttgart State Opera , at the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Munich , at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel and at the Krefeld and Mönchengladbach theaters .
Jochen Schölch's production of The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol at the Metropol Theater Munich , in which Lohmeyer participated, received the Bavarian Theater Prize in 2002 .
At the end of the nineties he also began to work as a theater director , including at the TamS Theater in Munich, at the Münchner Kammerspiele and at the open-air theater in Wunsiedel.
Since the late 1980s, he has appeared in numerous well-known television series and on the big screen. The best-known television series include Ein Haus in der Toscana , Café Perjury , The Rosenheim Cops , Der Bulle von Tölz , Das Amt , Lindenstrasse and Tatort . He also worked in the movies Der Schuh des Manitu by Michael "Bully" Herbig and in Cherry Blossoms - Hanami by Doris Dörrie .
His appearance as Bayern-Dusel in the Singspiel "Auf dem Nockherberg 2017" (strong beer tapping) will not be forgotten .
He has been giving acting lessons himself since 1992 and has been a lecturer at the Bavarian Theater Academy since 1995 .
Since episode 358 in August 2009 he can be seen in Dahoam is Dahoam as Michael Gerstl.
Gerd Lohmeyer lives with his wife, the actress Monika Manz , in Munich.
