Hannelore Burosch

Hannelore Burosch (born November 16, 1947 in Rostock ) is a former German handball player .

The 1.75 m tall and 73 kg heavy Hannelore Burosch played for SC Empor Rostock .

With the GDR selection , she won silver at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal . In 1971, 1975 and 1978 she became world champion with this team, and she was also part of the GDR squad at the 1973 World Cup. In 1976 and 1979 she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.
