Harry Astric Snell (born October 7, 1916 in Borås ; † May 8, 1985 there ) was a Swedish cyclist .

Harry Snell, who started for the IK Ymer club , was the dominant Swedish cyclist from the 1940s to the 1950s. His greatest success was winning the World Amateurs Road Championships in Valkenburg aan de Geul in the Netherlands . In the same year he started at the Olympic Games in London , in the team time trial the Swedish team finished fifth, in the individual race Harry Snell was fifth.

Four times Snell was Swedish road racing champion and won other national titles in individual and team time trials as well as in the relay . Three times - in 1944, 1945 and 1948 - he also won the important Swedish race around Mälaren . In 1946 he was able to win the Nordic championship in road racing.
