Henriette Møller Mikkelsen (born September 21, 1980 in Morsø ) is a former Danish handball player .

Career

The 1.67 m tall left winger played from 2003 for the Danish first division club Viborg HK . Previously, the nicknamed "Henry" player played for Ikast-Bording EH and NIF / FLUIF. In the 2007/08 season she was due to pregnancy out. In April 2008 she gave birth to a daughter. After returning to the VHK squad, Mikkelsen retired in November 2011. When Viborg HK had to complain about several injuries-related failures in the 2013/14 season, she made her comeback in February 2014. She also helped out occasionally in the following season.

For the Danish national team , she played 81 international matches, in which she scored 346 goals. The greatest success was winning the 2004 Olympic handball tournament , in which she converted the decisive seven-meter throw against South Korea in the final .
