The Paris Las Vegas is a hotel complex and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas ( Nevada ). It is owned by Caesars Entertainment . The landmark of the hotel is a replica of the Eiffel Tower .

In the complex there are various restaurants, a shopping arcade that is modeled on French streets, a congress center based on the Versailles Hall of Mirrors , a theater and a casino on 7,900 m². The pool area is on the street side on the roof of the casino. In front of it is a 164.6 meter high copy of the Eiffel Tower (scale 1: 2), the legs of which stand over replicas of the Paris Opera and the Louvre . An interesting architectural aspect is that one leg of the tower seems to break through the ceiling of the first floor and so appears to be in the middle of the casino. In fact, the imitation tower stands in the lower part on concrete pillars. Originally the copy of the Eiffel Tower was to be built in its original size, but had to be reduced in size due to the proximity to the airport.

The hotel logo on the Strip is on a Montgolfier balloon , and an equally scaled-down copy of the Paris Arc de Triomphe is located within the driveway. The 2916 rooms (including 295 suites) are located in a 33-storey, four-wing tower. It is connected to the sister hotel Bally's through a passage , via which a stop on the Las Vegas Monorail can also be reached.

The project was presented by Bally's Entertainment for the first time in May 1995 , the groundbreaking took place on April 18, 1997 at a planned construction cost of US $ 760 million. The construction of the complex was completed in April 1999 and opened on September 1, 1999. The construction ultimately cost 785 million dollars.

In January 2007 the musical show The Producers premiered. David Hasselhoff was named as headliner, but he did not appear in any of the shows; he had previously decided to leave production before the start. Tony Danza was the headliner until the end of the term in February 2008 . The hotel's current show is Jersey Boys , who moved from Hotel The Palazzo to Paris in 2012 .

In 2011, extensive construction work was carried out, especially on the main entrance and the facade facing the Strip. At that time, a nightclub called Chateau , a Sugar Factory Shop and the Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant were newly built . As part of the renovation work, some of the French style elements were also removed in Paris ; a measure that is and was carried out in many Las Vegas theme hotels (for example also in the Luxor and the MGM Grand )
