I'm in Love ( English : I'm in love ) is a song by British band The Beatles , the 2013 on their compilation album The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963 was published. It was composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and published under the author's name Lennon / McCartney . The song was first published by the music group The Fourmost .

I'm in Love was composed in the first half of 1963 and is mainly based on the musical ideas of John Lennon. Probably in July 1963 a demo version with piano accompaniment was recorded by John Lennon.

I'm in Love was never recorded for EMI by the Beatles , instead they offered the song to the group The Fourmost , who were friends with the Beatles. The Fourmost played in October 1963 under the production direction of George Martin I'm in Love and released the song as a single on November 15, which reached number 17 in the UK charts. After Hello Little Girl , The Fourmost released another Lennon / McCartney composition as a single.

On October 14, 1963, Billy J. Kramer also played I'm in Love at Abbey Road Studios with George Martin as producer. John Lennon was present during the recording. The version by Billy J. Kramer was no longer used in the near future.
