Janine Tischer (born May 19, 1984 in Meiningen ) is a former German bobsleigh driver and was part of the German national women's bobsleigh team.

Janine Tischer is police chief of the federal police and a member of PSV Meiningen . From 2006 to 2009 she was at the Federal Police Sports School Bad Endorf . Since 2002 she has been pushing Cathleen Martini and Sandra Kiriasis in bobsleigh . Her greatest successes are the wins of the European Championships in 2005 and 2012, the Vice World Championships in 2007 and 2008 and the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2009. She was also junior world champion with Cathleen Martini. She has celebrated world cup victories 8 times so far. At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games , she and Claudia Schramm finished the two-man bobsleigh competition in 7th place. In the 2011/12 season she was able to celebrate the overall World Cup victory for the first time with her pilot Cathleen Martini.

Janine Tischer ended her sports career in 2014. She is married, has one daughter and lives in Meiningen.
