Church province of Juba

Church Province Juba: Wau (3), Rumbek (4), Malakal (5), Tambura-Yambio (6), Yei (7), Juba (8), Torit (9)

The Roman Catholic ecclesiastical province of Juba (named after the city of Juba ) covers the area of South Sudan .

In addition to the Archdiocese of Juba, the ecclesiastical province includes the suffragan dioceses Malakal , Rumbek , Tambura-Yambio , Torit , Wau and Yei .

The noticeably stronger structure of the ecclesiastical province of Juba compared to northern Sudan ( ecclesiastical province of Khartoum with only two dioceses) is due to the relatively high number of Catholics.
