László Basilidesz (born February 12, 1979 ) is a former Romanian ice hockey player who was five times Romanian champion with Steaua Bucharest .

Career

Club

László Basilidesz began his career as a hockey player with Steaua Bucharest in the Romanian capital, for whom he played in the Romanian ice hockey league in 1999 . With Steaua he was Romanian champion in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 and cup winner in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2008 . After winning the fifth cup, he moved to CS Progym Gheorgheni , which he left after three years in 2011 to end his career at CSM Dunărea Galați .

International

Basilidesz already played in the junior division for Romania and was initially in the U18-B-European Championship 1996 and the U18 European Championship 1997 in use. For the Romanian U20 selection, he was active in the U20 D World Cup in 1999 .

He made his debut in the men's national team at the 2000 World Cup . After switching to the current division system, he played in Division II in 2001 and 2008 , with promotion to Division I in each case. In Division I he was on the ice at the 2002 , 2004 and 2005 World Championships . He also played for his colors in November 2004 in qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
