City parish church St. Marien With construction beginning around 1280, the church is one of the oldest buildings in Kirchhain. After several changes, a late Gothic brick basilica was built with a painted wooden barrel vault and a late Romanesque brick tower. The church has an altarpiece from 1743 and a pulpit from the 18th century. The original three towers of the church can still be found today in the coat of arms of Doberlug-Kirchhain. Due to dilapidation, these were replaced by two pointed helmets in 1590.

Doberlug Monastery Church Former doberlug castle and monastery church. Part of the Dobrilugk Monastery , founded in 1165 . It is considered to be the oldest preserved sacred building of the Cistercians in eastern Germany. The pillar basilica was built between 1184 and 1228 and converted into a castle church after the Reformation. In the middle of the 19th century the furniture was removed and rebuilt under the direction of the architect Carl Weber between 1905 and 1909.
