Estate with church, park and castle ruins The remains of Saathain Castle, first mentioned in documents in 1140, with the associated former manor are located on the left side of the Black Elster at the end of the village in the direction of Elsterwerda. After the historic building fell victim to a fire in April 1945, only the foundation walls remain, on which there is a terrace that used to be a café. The former manor church is located to the west of the palace complex . The half-timbered church dates from 1629. In 1816 the church was rebuilt and the tower was built. Inside, the painting on the ceiling dates from the beginning of the 17th century. At the end of the 1980s, extensive renovation measures were carried out inside the structure. The restoration of the bell tower was completed in 2011.
