List of monuments, fountains and sculptures in Senftenberg
This list shows the monuments, fountains and sculptures in Senftenberg . Senftenberg is the district town of the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district in southern Brandenburg . For the purposes of this list, monuments, works of art, statues, statues, cenotaphs, memorial plaques, sculptures, sculptures and sgraffiti that are located in publicly accessible areas are considered memorials and sculptures . However, the list does not include any buildings classified as monuments. Some of these monuments have been removed, rearranged, remodeled or even destroyed from their original location. Monuments that no longer exist are listed separately. The monuments of the districts Sedlitz , Großkoschen with Kleinkoschen , Niemtsch , Peickwitz and Hosena are not included in this list. Stumbling blocks are included in the list of stumbling blocks in Senftenberg .
Most of the memorials were designed by the Senftenberg artists Günter Wendt and Ernst Sauer .
Notes on the information in the tables
- In the column Description and notes on the history , the name (if known) of the monument, a short description, if necessary the material and information on the implementation and changes are given.
- The current installation site is given as the location and, as far as possible, the street. Reference points (e.g. prominent buildings) are also mentioned here. The column is sortable.
- The artist who created the monument is named in the Artist column . No artist is named for machines or for works without a great deal of creative effort (e.g. boulders), instead a horizontal line “-” is given.
- In the columns Date of erection and Date of removal , the times are given when the monument was originally erected or finally removed. The tilde "~" in front of the date indicates that it is an approximation. The column is sortable.
- If the artist , the date of installation and, in the case of the former monuments, the date of removal are not known, the word "unknown" is entered. The column is sortable.
