The list of Duisburg underground stations contains all stations that are served by the Stadtbahn of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Duisburg . The operator of the underground stations is the Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft .

Most of the stations allow independent operation of the routes, this applies in particular to all underground stations and those in high altitude. Here, the platforms can only be reached via overpasses or underpasses .

At the ground-level stations, on the other hand, there are still opportunities to cross the tracks, even if the track body is largely separated from road traffic.

Explanations

The list provides information about this:

  • which lines serve the respective underground station,
  • in which year the subway station was opened,
  • which platform type ( middle platform / side platform ) is available,
  • which platform height ( high / low floor ) is available,
  • whether the station is above ground or in a tunnel,
  • which transfer options are available ( bus , tram , S-Bahn , regional traffic , long-distance traffic ),
  • whether the underground station used to have a different name,
  • whether there are any other noteworthy incidents.
