List of Nuremberg underground stations
The list of Nuremberg underground stations is a listing of all existing, under construction and officially planned underground stations of the Nuremberg underground system.
Except for the eastern outskirts, all of Nuremberg's ten statistical districts are connected to the 37.1 kilometer network, plus the neighboring city of Fürth to the west of Nuremberg . There are further options for extensions in the Fürth district to Stein , Oberasbach and Zirndorf in the southwest of Nuremberg. The system currently has 48 stations, which are distributed over the three lines as follows (transfer and shared stations are counted separately for each line):
The list is structured as follows:
- Name (abbreviation) : Name of the underground station and VAG -internal abbreviation
- Line : subway line that serves the subway station; if several lines stop at a platform, they are combined
- Opening : first-time opening of the underground station for public transport
- Location : Location of the underground station ( tunnel location , embankment location , viaduct , incision or plan)
- District : Nuremberg or Fürth district in which the underground station is located
- DB : You can change to long-distance and local transport ( R and S-Bahn ) operated by Deutsche Bahn
- Tram : You can change to the Nuremberg tram
- Bus : You can change to the city bus systems in Nuremberg or Fürth
- Rad : Station of Nuremberg bicycle rental system VAG_Rad
- Passengers : average number of passengers on working days in 2019
- Comments : Comments on the underground station about possible closures, adjacent workshops, renaming, etc.
- Sights : Sights and structures within a radius of 500 meters
- Image : Image of the subway station, usually the platform
Underground stations highlighted in gray are currently not being served, so they are former or planned stations.
