Works

Ziani wrote exclusively vocal music , including around 45 operas, 16 oratorios , around 15 masses and over 100 other sacred works . His style is versatile and contrapuntal . Instrumental passages are often expanded widely, with the composer using the instrumentation to achieve unusual effects.
