The 1985 Benson & Hedges Masters was an invitation-only snooker tournament of the 1984/85 season that was held from January 27 to February 3, 1985 at the Wembley Conference Center in London . It was the eleventh edition of the Masters. The prize money was £ 150,000, of which the winner received £ 37,500. The cash prize for the highest break was £ 3,750.

Cliff Thorburn won the tournament by beating Doug Mountjoy 9-6 in the final . Previously, Thorburn had defeated defending champion Jimmy White 6: 4 in the semifinals . Thorburn was the first player to win the Masters twice.
