Morrisville is a borough in Bucks County , Pennsylvania , United States . The community is named after the merchant and banker Robert Morris , who among other things financed the American Revolutionary War .
Morrisville is located on the Delaware River across from Trenton , the capital of New Jersey . The population was 10,023 in 2000.

1955 won Little League - Baseball team from Morrisville the Little League World Series . It is one of four Pennsylvania teams to win this title.
