The Beijing National Tennis Center ( Chinese 國家 網球 中心 ; formerly: Olympic Green Tennis Center) is a tennis complex in the Chinese capital Beijing . The center opened on October 1, 2007 and in 2008 was the venue for the tennis competitions of the Olympic Games and the wheelchair tennis competitions at the Paralympics .

The facility is located in the northwest of the Olympic Green Olympic Park and covers an area of ​​16.7 hectares . It has 12 competition and 35 training spaces. Overall, the seats have a capacity of 32,400 seats.

The Diamond Arena , which is the main square, was built in 2011 and has a capacity of 15,000 seats. The arena has a roof that can be opened or closed as needed. The Lotus Court , the Moon Court and Brad Drewett Court all have 12 stands, which from the air betrachtetet the shape of petals of lotus flowers represent one of the symbols of the Olympic Games of 2008.

The Lotus Court seats 10,000, the Moon Court seats a further 4,000, and the Brad Drewett Court stands for 2,000. The places have a ventilation and cooling system.

The China Open for men and women has been held annually at the National Tennis Center since 2009 . At the same time, the Olympic Green Tennis Center was renamed what is now the National Tennis Center.
