Büdesheim New Palace

The New Palace in Büdesheim , a district of the municipality of Schöneck in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse , is a modern palace complex in the vicinity of the Old Palace in Büdesheim an der Nidder .

history

The castle was built in 1885 by Waldemar von Oriola , who had previously lived in the old castle. The architect was Gabriel von Seidl . The castle was owned by the State of Hesse and was temporarily used as a refugee hostel. Today it is used for private living again.

investment

The castle consists of two interconnected structures. The southeast part is designed in neo-renaissance forms . He has bay windows, half-timbered structures and a stair tower with wich houses . The more simply shaped north-western part has a large fresco by Rudolf von Seitz on the courtyard side .
