Nikolaos "Niko" Dobros (born May 24, 1993 in Filderstadt ) is a German-Greek soccer player who is under contract with the Stuttgarter Kickers .

Career

Beginnings and FC Ingolstadt II

Dobros grew up in Nussdorf near Vaihingen an der Enz and played for TSV Nussdorf, VfB Stuttgart , 1. FC Nürnberg and FC Ingolstadt 04 in his youth . For the 2012/13 season he rose from the A-youth of FC Ingolstadt to the club's second team. He played his first game for the second team on July 28, 2012 in the defeat in the Regionalliga Bayern against the reserves of 1. FC Nürnberg. In the 67th minute he came on for Stanislav Herzel and in the 89th minute prepared Karl-Heinz Lappe 's goal to make the final score 2-4. He scored his first of two goals for FC Ingolstadt 04 II on May 3, 2014 in the 2-3 defeat against TSV 1860 Munich II . In the 86th minute he achieved the interim 2-1 lead. A week later in the 3-1 win against SV Schalding-Heining , he scored his second and last goal for the Ingolstadt team with the goal of the 1-1 equalizer.

FC Nöttingen

After two seasons in the reserve of FC Ingolstadt 04, he left the team and moved to FC Nöttingen in the Regionalliga Südwest . He played his first league game for the new club on August 2, 2014. In the 1: 4 defeat against SV Elversberg , he was on the field for the entire 90 minutes. He scored his first league goal on October 18, 2014 when he beat Wormatia Worms . He scored the 2-1 final score with his goal in the first minute of stoppage time in the second half. In the 1-0 win against FK Pirmasens on April 18, 2015, he completed his 50th league game in a regional league.

Kickers Offenbach

For the 2016/17 season he moved to league competitor Kickers Offenbach and made his debut on July 31, 2015 in a 2-2 draw against KSV Hessen Kassel . He was substituted on for Fabian Bäcker by coach Rico Schmitt in the 90th minute . On August 15, 2015, he scored his first league goal in his third league game. In the 84th minute with the goal to 5: 1 for the Kickers, he set the end point in the game against the reserves of SC Freiburg . His 10th and last league goal was scored on February 28, 2016 in the second leg against the Freiburg Reserve. In the victory he scored the 2-1 final score in the 79th minute. He completed his 50th league game in the Regionalliga Südwest on March 4, 2016 in a goalless draw against TSV Steinbach .

SC Paderborn 07

After a season he left the Kickers again and joined the second division relegated SC Paderborn 07 . He made his league debut for the new club in the 3rd division and thus his professional debut on July 29, 2016 in the game against MSV Duisburg . In the 1-0 defeat he was substituted on by coach René Müller in the 69th minute for Sebastian Schonlau . In January 2017 he was loaned to the regional league club SV Elversberg until the end of the season. After the end of the 2016/17 season, SC Paderborn 07 announced that the contract was mutually terminated.

SV 07 Elversberg

After only six months in Paderborn, Dobros moved on to SV Elversberg in the fourth-class Regionalliga Südwest . In 13 games of the second half of the season he scored two goals and qualified with the team as first in the table for the promotion relegation to the 3rd division. He lost in two games of SpVgg Unterhaching with 0: 3 and 2: 2. In the second leg he scored the interim goal to make it 1: 2 for SVE.

F91 Dudelange

After missing promotion to the 3rd league with Elversberg, he signed a three-year contract with the Luxembourg champions and cup winners F91 Dudelange in the BGL Ligue at the beginning of July 2017 . Here he was able to win the Luxembourg championship in the first season . Dobros was used in seven games of the season, scoring two goals. He was also used in a Champions League qualifying game against APOEL Nicosia . After a disappointing seven season appearances (2 goals), his contract was canceled after only one year.

Wormatia worms

In August 2018 Dobros Wormatia Worms joined the Regionalliga Südwest . His contract runs until June 30, 2019. In the 2018/19 season he played 20 regional league games and scored two goals. He is also used four times in the Southwest Cup .

VfR Aalen

After relegation with Wormatia Worms from the regional league, he did not extend his expiring contract and switched to VfR Aalen for the 2019/20 season , who had just been relegated from the 3rd division to the Regionalliga Südwest . For Aalen, he played 20 regional league games and scored four goals.

Stuttgart Kickers

After the season end due to Corona , Dobros will move to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in July 2020 .
