Nus is an Italian commune in the Aosta Valley region . The municipality is located about 8 km east of Aosta and has 2971 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) with an area of ​​57 km². Nus lies at an altitude of 527  m slm and has the neighboring communities of Bionaz , Fénis , Oyace , Quart , Saint-Marcel , Torgnon and Verrayes . The castle and the parish church, which was mentioned as early as the 12th century, are worth seeing.

Nus is one of the valley's wine-growing communities and gives its name to the Vien de Nus grape variety .
