Olga Igorewna Saizewa

Olga Igorewna Saizewa ( Russian Ольга Игоревна Зайцева , English transcription Olga Zaytseva ; born November 10, 1984 in Kaliningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian athlete .

In 2005, Olga Saizewa won the gold medal in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.72 seconds at the U23 European Championships in Erfurt .

On January 28, 2006, together with Julija Guschtschina , Olga Kotljarowa and Olesja Forschewa in Glasgow , she improved the U23 world record in the 4 x 400 meter relay to 3: 23.37 min, which is still today (as of October 2008 ) was not broken.

At the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 , she won the bronze medal over 400 meters and was European champion with Swetlana Pospelowa , Natalja Iwanowa and Tatjana Weschkurowa with the 4 x 400 meter relay.
