Printfox

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Printfox is a word processor by Hans Haberl that was published in 1986 by Scanntronik for the C64 home computer . The functions of the program go so far that it can almost be counted under the category of DTP programs. In addition to texts, Printfox can also process images. Together with a graphics-capable printer, a wide variety of character sets can be used that were not available on the common printers of that time. The text can also be formatted relatively freely. The program can be expanded with additional character sets and functions using additional disks. Printfox is even available in Czech and Polish. The price of the program on the release date was 98 DM.

The successor Pagefox has a much larger range of functions and was only sold as a plug-in module with an integrated memory expansion.
