The Scanntronik Mugrauer GmbH is a German computer company from Zorneding in Munich , which was officially registered by Hans Mugrauer in 1985th A little later, Mugrauer became aware of Hans Haberl , whose Hi-Eddi painting program was printed as a listing in the January issue of the 64'er magazine and whom he hired as a freelance programmer. The company produces electronic devices and software for the IT sector.

In the mid-1980s, the company published the C64 software titles Printfox and Pagefox . It was also the first company to offer a hand scanner for the C64 home computer . Before that, Scanntronik had a device on offer that the C64 owner could attach to the print head of a needle printer in order to be able to use this device to scan paper templates into the computer.
