Silvio Carlos de Oliveira or just "Silvio" (born February 1, 1985 in Mandaguari , Parana) is a Brazilian - Swiss football player .
Career
Silvio began his professional career in his home country at FC Santos . His second stop was Atlético de Sorocaba . At the beginning of 2005 he moved to FC Wil in Switzerland. Silvio played with FCW in the Challenge League , the second highest division in the country. After 1 ½ years, the attacker broke the knot for the 2007/08 season and he was able to score eleven goals in sixteen games in the first half of the season . This achievement did not go unnoticed by the Swiss first division team and in February 2008 he signed a contract with FC Zurich until June 30, 2012 . The FCZ originally wanted to take over Silvio in the summer of 2008. After Eudis sustained an injury, this transfer was brought forward to the winter break. The striker finally made his debut in the Axpo Super League on February 24, 2008 in a 2-1 draw against FC Luzern . Silvio was substituted on by trainer Bernard Challandes in the 59th minute for Onyekachi Okonkwo . The Brazilian ended the season without a first division. In October 2008 he returned to FC Wil on loan. With these he finished third in the second division in 2008/09 , which was not enough for promotion. The following year , Silvio was loaned out again. The Challenge League representative FC Lugano secured the services of the offensive player for one year. With 15 goals (behind Carlos Da Silva, second best scorer of the FCL ), Silvio shot FC Lugano, behind FC Thun , in second place in the league and thus in the relegation for promotion to the highest Swiss football class.
At 1. FC Union Berlin , he was in the starting line-up against FSV Frankfurt on the first matchday of the 2011/12 season and scored his first goal immediately with a penalty. In this game he was then substituted in the 74th minute and John Jairo Mosquera came on for him .
During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC .
For the 2016/17 season he returned to Switzerland, where he joined the second division club FC Winterthur . In his first season he scored 16 goals in 33 league appearances.
