Tobias Güttner (born August 17, 1982 in Bochum ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has played in the regional ice hockey league at EHC 80 Nuremberg since August 2011 .
Career
The 1.86 m tall goalkeeper began his professional career in 1999 with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in the DEL. There Güttner only took on the role of substitute goalkeeper behind Petr Franěk and accordingly got little playing time. In the total of five years that the goalkeeper spent in Nuremberg , he only played nine games.
After the right catcher suspended the 2004/05 season, he moved to the Hamburg Freezers for the 2005/06 season . Here, too, the Bochum-born man was unable to assert himself after a strong first half of the season and subsequently played for some teams from the major league , such as the Stuttgart Wizards and EV Ravensburg . Tobias Güttner went on the ice for the Freezers in the 2008/09 season , but did not get a contract extension after the end of the season. At the end of January 2010 he moved to the Eispiraten Crimmitschau , for whom he played until 2011. Then Güttner went to EHC 80 Nuremberg from the ice hockey regional league .
