The Toray Pan Pacific Open 2012 was the 37th edition of the women's tennis tournament held in Japan's capital Tokyo . The Premier 5 hard court tournament was part of the WTA Tour 2012 and took place from 23 to 29 September 2012.

The defending champion in the singles was Agnieszka Radwańska , who lost to Nadja Petrowa 0: 6, 6: 1, 3: 6 in the final . The year before, Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond had won the doubles final , but this time they did not start; In 2012 Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears defeated the pairing Anna-Lena Grönefeld / Květa Peschke 6: 1, 6: 4.
