Víctor Avendaño (born May 5, 1907 in Buenos Aires , Argentina , † July 1, 1984 ) was an Argentine boxer .
Amateur career
Avendaño beat Sergio Ojeda , Donald Carrick , Don McCorkindale and Ernst Pistulla at the 1928 Olympic Games in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam , each on points and became an Olympic light heavyweight champion .
professional
With the professionals he completed a total of only five fights, all of which took place in his home country Buenos Aires. He won two of them, lost two and one ended in a “no contest”.
