Zakaria Asidah (born June 22, 1972 in Frederiksberg ) is a former Danish Taekwondoin who was active in the heavyweight division. He won a silver medal each at World and European Championships and took part in the Olympic Games once.

When Asidah came to Taekwondo, he was already 20 years old. He started for the Nørrebro Taekwondo Club . In 1995 he was accepted into the national team. Asidah played his first international title fights at the 1997 World Cup in Hong Kong , where he reached the second round in the class up to 83 kilograms, but was eliminated there by Faissal Ebnoutalib . In the following years he was able to reach quarter-finals in several championships, but he was denied entry into a semi-final. Asidah won his first international medal only at the 2003 World Cup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . Starting in the heavyweight over 84 kilograms, he fought his way to the finals and won the silver medal after a defeat. Asidah qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , retired there in his opening fight and finished eleventh in the final ranking. The following years were unsuccessful for Asidah, at several international championships he had to accept an opening defeat. Only at the 2010 European Championships in Saint Petersburg did he find his way back on the road to success, Asidah made it to the final and won his first European Championship medal with silver. After another unsuccessful World Cup in Gyeongju and missed participation in the 2012 Olympic Games , Asidah ended his active career.
