Townscape

Half-timbered houses and modern residences characterize the village without a thoroughfare. The Ziegenhagen spa administration still offers small offers during the holiday periods, otherwise the flow of spa guests and holidaymakers has decreased considerably in recent years. The Ziegenhagen adventure park , located about 1 km northeast of the village church, was closed on November 4, 2019 for operational reasons.

traffic

Ziegenhagen can be reached from the Hedemünden junction of the federal motorway 7 , first on the district road  6 and then - after crossing the federal road 80 near the junction - driving on the K 211, which  merges into the state road 3302 beyond the Lower Saxony-Hessian border . The latter leads directly northeast past the village and then on to Stiedenrode. From this street the K 53 branches off as a cul-de-sac that opens up the village.
