Professor [[Thorkil Kristensen]], former [[OECD]] Secretary-General and [[Finance Minister of Denmark|Danish Minister of Finance]], founded the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (Instituttet for Fremtidsforskning) in 1970. It is Denmark's and one of Scandinavia largest [[Futures Studies]] think tank.
