→‎Films: Who is responsible for this insanity - which has proliferated like a virus across the entire encyclopedia? Who *always* has been at the top of movie posters? Gets "top billing". Has their name on the marquees outside theatres? The STARS. It is the extreme exception that a director is even *mentioned* anywhere (if their name is not Spielberg, Coppola, or Tarantino). Even greats like John Ford did not have their names at the tops of posters or movie marquees. What is behind this?
