Warrensburg is a village in Macon County, Illinois, United States. Its population was 1,110 at the 2020 census,[2] down from 1,201 in 2010. It is included in the Decatur, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. Warrensburg was established in 1841.

Warrensburg is located in northwestern Macon County at 39°55′52″N 89°3′41″W / 39.93111°N 89.06139°W (39.931102, -89.061326).[3] Illinois Route 121 passes through the northeast side of the village, leading southeast 9 miles (14 km) to Decatur, the county seat, and northwest 14 miles (23 km) to Mount Pulaski.
