Raja Ram Shastri (also Rajaram Shastri) (1904 - 21 August 1991) was an eminent Indian educationist acclaimed for his service to literature. He served as MP from Varanasi during the Fifth Lok Sabha (1971 - 1977), and was also Professor and subsequently Vice-Chancellor of the Kashi Vidya Pith from 1964 - 1971.
He served as a member of first National Commission on Labour [1] and received Padma Vibhushan in 1991,[2] the second highest civilian honor of India.
He died in New Delhi on 21 August 1991, aged 87.[3]
