Template:Infobox musical artist 2 Fools Dance was a short-lived British rock band formed by Simon Gallup after he left The Cure due to a conflict with Robert Smith in 1982.[1] Although Fools Dance recorded a fair number of songs and played a fair number of gigs in their brief existence, they never released a full-length album. The only material they ever released were two EPs; their self-titled EP and They'll Never Know.

The band dissolved shortly after Gallup reconciled with Robert Smith and rejoined The Cure in 1985. However, in 2006, somebody started up a web page for Fools Dance on MySpace [2], featuring some rare live recordings that have never been released to the public.

Trivia

Matthieu Hartley and Gary Biddles have also both been involved with The Cure; Hartley was their original keyboard player and Biddles was a one-time guest singer and roadie.
When Simon Gallup rejoined The Cure as they were recording The Head on the Door, the band tapped Ron Howe to play a saxophone solo on the track "A Night Like This."
Gary Biddles later formed another band with Lol Tolhurst called Presence, which released one full-length album called Inside.
