Fewell attended [[Lenoir-Rhyne College]] and was a student and a football standout. In football, he was a four-year [[letterman]] and as a senior, he was named the team's Most Improved Player. Perry was also a high ranking member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity. His fraternal little brother is Matt Klenke, an outstanding high school and college quarterback in his own right, currently living in Tampa, FL.

Perry Fewell (born September 7, 1962 in Gastonia, North Carolina) is the current defensive coordinator for the NFL's Buffalo Bills.
