Can I ask why you deleted the quote parameters? Why are they there if are NOT to use them? You shouldn't have to read an entire book or website to find the context of a quote. --[[User:Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )|Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )]] 21:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Can I ask why you deleted the quote parameters? Why are they there if are NOT to use them? You shouldn't have to read an entire book or website to find the context of a quote. Also if the link becomes dead, the context of the quote is preserved. Once a link dies, its also easier to refind an article on the web based on the quoted text, than say an article, who's title is just "John Smith Dead." --[[User:Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )|Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )]] 21:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

User:Boricuaeddie/Talkpage header

Well, I'm glad they deleted it. I kinda skimmed it a bit and overlooked the date from 2017....Thanks for pointing that out. —Signed by KoЯnfan71 My Talk Sign Here! 01:53, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My recent RfA

I am sorry you felt it necessary to oppose my recent RfA, which did not succeed. I will attempt to get more experience in the main namespace and see what I can do to allay your concerns and will try again for RfA in two month's time. I hope I will have satisfied your concerns by then, but if not, please comment as you feel you should. Thanks for participating in my RfA. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 06:59, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nom

Updated DYK query Did you know? was updated. On 12 October, 2007, a fact from the article Vincent Thomas, which you recently nominated, was featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Argentine football

Hi there, I noticed that you created an article on Andrés Yllana, I have made a few additions to the article including adding the Wikipedia:WikiProject Argentine football parameter on the talk page. Maybe you would be interested in joining the project? If you do make any more Argentine football related pages could you announce them here Wikipedia:Wikiproject Argentine football/New articles, cheers. Keep up the good work, kind regards, King of the North East (T/C) 13:33, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look now. Char count should be at least 1500 not counting spaces. With footnote characters, it is around 1900. ArielGold 16:55, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply

Hi, Eddie. I put them there because I do think they should be redirected, deleted, merged or whatever. Thanks for the tip though. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 04:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA

I'm prepared to give it a shot. I have accepted a nomination here. Hut 8.5 19:27, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for making the Vermont town pages pretty

Hi -- I do a lot of work on the Vermont town pages and I just wanted to say thanks and nice job for finding Wikimedia Commons images to go with some of the town articles. They really look nice and help the pages look a lot less drab. Jessamyn (talk) 21:09, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NeraBot

Ooh, thanks! I missed that. :) Neranei (talk) 03:06, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'll go take a look. Thanks! Love, Neranei (talk) 03:08, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, what would you suggest? Love,Neranei (talk) 03:15, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, maybe some cats? It could be interesting to, say, have my bot represented by a building or whatever... :P Love, Neranei (talk) 03:23, 14 October 2007 (UTC) (Wow, someone noticed that I'm female! I used to have the problem of being a "he/she" when referred to by other editors. Yay!)[reply]
Thanks, I like it too! Thanks, I guess the female symbol helped? :-) Now I just have to wait for approval! Love, Neranei (talk) 15:46, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it *is* kinda obvious...:P Love,Neranei (talk) 17:03, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for commenting on my RFA

Thank you for commenting on my RFA, which was withdrawn. Whether you supported or opposed, I thank you for the suggestions for improvement. And forgive me if my wording was a bit harsh, by oppose I meant opposing Wikipedia. Marlith T/C 04:21, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Forgive me if I sounded a bit rude and boorish on the RfA, future discussions will not be like that again.

Your RfA

Eddie, The outcome of your RfA doesn't look good, but I want you to know that regardless what others may think, I believe that you deserved the adminship. I want you to know that I am always here for you. Que Dios Te Bendiga. Tony the Marine 05:18, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I, Ro-bot

Hey Eddie, I was thinking in operating a bot to supplement when you are unable to run BoricuaBot due to time constrains, the bot would pretty much perform the same function of adding the project's template to relevant pages, naturally before asking for the flag and permison I wanted to now if you are ok with this idea, thanks for your time. - Caribbean~H.Q. 07:47, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was also thinking that it could inform me of any tagged article that is unaccessed or lacking importance, this feature's fuction would be exclusively to avoid the creation of any backlog during tagging as we experienced earlier this year when the templates were in place but no accessment was made. - Caribbean~H.Q. 07:54, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I heard AWB was the easiest somewhere before, that's why I actually decided to give the browser a try, the whole thing should be running around the first or second week of November, I'll drop you a line when in need of help, you are the bot expert after all ;) - Caribbean~H.Q. 14:56, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have developed a test user page for the bot, I'm not sure if there is a regulation on ,aterial found on bot userpages so if you have time please take a quick browse and let me know. - Caribbean~H.Q. 16:33, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but dont tell Neranei‎ I accidentally edited NeraBot's page when trying to figure out what is supposed to be on the bot's page, naturally I apologized but she will probably try to kill me when she finds out. :-o - Caribbean~H.Q. 16:57, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's ok, don't worry, I don't bite. Normally. :-) Seriously though, it's fine. I have the tendency to make the same type of mistakes, so... Love, Neranei (talk) 17:41, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for adminship

On this occasion, your request for adminship was not successful. I hope that you will continue your useful contributions to Wikipedia and may consider standing again in future. Remember, editors who commented were very complimentary about your contributions to Wikipedia, but many were not yet convinced that you can remain cool in a heated discussion.

...for the comment on the WP:IAR picture. My speedometer went fritzy on me and I thought it would be fun to take a picture of it. In reality, I was stopped. :-) — BQZip01 — talk 20:25, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
