Mark Edward Lewis, born 1954, is an American academic. He received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the [[University of Chicago]]. Since 2002 he has been Kwoh-Ting Li Professor in Chinese Culture at [[Stanford University]]. Previously he was a Reader at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at [[Cambridge University]].
