Damakदमक is a town in east Nepal that is situated between the Ratua Khola (River) in the east and the Mawa Khola (River) in the west. It is in the Jhapa District which is in the Mechi Zone of the Eastern Development Region of Nepal. Damak was changed to a municipality from a VDC (Village Development Committee) in the year 1982 AD. It is at an average of 100 meters above the sea level, and has Lakhanpur to its east, Urlabari, Rajghat and Madhumalla in the west and Chulachuli Ilam and Kohabari vdc in the north and the south, respectively.
