Urlabari ( Nepali उर्लाबारी Urlabari ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Morang district .
Urlabari is located 30 km east of Itahari on the Mahendra Rajmarg highway . In the east the city borders on Damak . Urlabari was a Village Development Committee until 2014 . On May 18, 2014 Urlabari were granted city rights ( municipality ). The urban area of Urlabari covers 28.59 km².
Residents
In 2001 Urlabari had 18,224 inhabitants. At the 2011 census, the population was 35,166 (in 8165 households, of which 16,285 were male).
