Rangeli ( Nepali रङ्गेली Rangeli ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Morang district .
Rangeli is located 25 km east of Biratnagar on the border with India . The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Amgachhi , Rangeli and Takuwa . The urban area covers 44.3 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Rangeli emerged had 28,516 inhabitants (14,055 male) in 6119 households.
